About the Radiologist
Dr. Bert Duncan, M.D. received his B.S. from Auburn University in Montgomery, AL before completing medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His intern year in internal medicine was completed at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. From there he served as the General Medical Officer for the Naval Construction Battalion, also known as the SeaBees. His residency in Therapeutic Radiology was completed at the Naval Hospital in San Diego where he went on to become a Staff Physician in Radiation Oncology. He later moved to Mississippi where he practiced many years before moving to Alabama and joining BRG in 2012.
Dr. Duncan is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is part of the American College of Radiology and American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology.
